Jennifer was born and raised just outside of New Orleans in Chalmette, Louisiana.?She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University,?specializing in International Relations. After college, Jennifer obtained her teaching certification and taught English and American History to middle school students in her hometown.
Thereafter,?she received her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.?During law school, Jennifer served as a Teaching Assistant to first-year law students in the Legal Research and Writing Program. In addition, she earned a position on the Loyola Law Review and was later elected to serve on the Editorial Board as Case Note and Comment Editor. While studying at Loyola, Jennifer interned at the Recovery School District, where she participated in the development of district-wide special education policies.?Jennifer has worked for both plaintiff and defense firms, gaining experience in personal injury law and insurance litigation.
